Not losing the post this time!!!!
So I know I said I had posted some blogging on here three times recently and well it disappeared when Dale did some change over stuff with our computers!! He did apologize….so I can’t be cross. After a crazy day today I figured I would chill and share some scrapping I have finally had time to do recently.
This past weekend I managed to create this…..
These are photos of my friend at work Jasmine. Her children had a great time in the mud and I just couldn’t help but scrap them!!! It also gave me the opportunity to do another Design team project for Scrapping Clearly!! Go take a look at the design team stuff people have done because its fantastic!!!
Some other layouts over the last months I have done are….
Jacob and his famous saying…..
Sam and his fave choccie!!!
Our little dancer boy which was another Scrapping Clearly project!!
First layout of the newest member to our family….Jesse….we are so proud that we have another Nephew in our family.
and a bit of a different layout for me. This is of Miss Ella, my beautiful little cousin who I very proudly got to babysit just recently!!
My sister Kerrie also gave me this lovely photo of my nephews that got taken at school. I think it is beautiful.
So finally you have reached the bottom…I wish I had something amazing to finish this post off with but I haven’t! What I will say however is that embrace what this week brings you even if it feels crappy…..that is at least what I am going to try and do because after a crappy day I realized that wallowing in it isn’t helping me at all and I need to move on and get some happiness and ignore the crappiness!!

Lay down your burdens…
The other day at work my feet were so sore, my body was sore and I was just plain tired. Couldn’t wait for the day to end but it had barely begun. It had been a particularly busy week. The one thing that kept me going for the rest of the day was a song by Amy Grant called Carry you…….it is a reminder to me that God is there for us if we open our hearts and let him in. So today I thought I would share the lyrics to this one with you…..
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
If I can walk on water
And calm a restless sea
I’ve done a thousand things you’ve never done
And I’m weary watchin’
While you struggle on your own
Call my name, I’ll come
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
I give vision to the blind
And I can raise the dead
I’ve seen the darker side of Hell
And I returned
And I see these sleepless nights
And I count every tear you cry
I know some lessons hurt to learn
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
I will carry you, my child
I see these sleepless nights
And I count every tear you cry
And call my name, I’ll come runnin’
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
I hope it blesses you as much as it did me!!!
On another note…..
Today my sister, her partner and his son, and my beatiful niece came to visit. I loved catching up with them and am totally adoring the new member of the family Jesse, he is such a cutie. Mostly though I loved spending some time with Mikayla…..growing up before our eyes…..and yes her Tshirt does say what you think it does!!!

Love you all
Allison xo
How can I compete….
with the last post…hee hee…so sweet of my hubby!!!
So studies have started back and it is all busy busy….hence not a lot of scrapping time.
I haven’t had a chance to share this layout yet that I did for a white with one challenge blog…worth checking out if you have the time. I Love the concept!!

Another exciting thing in the scrap world is the site called http://www.thescrapreview.com/!! Go take a look….it will be launched the first week of march. I will be adding their site to my blog soon and hopefully a blinkie as I think it is such a worthwhile contribution to the scrapbooking world!!
Dale and I were so lucky to be asked by Dales sister Verity to share in her special day (getting married next year) by sharing with her something “old” that is special for us. After much consideration we decided on sharing our wedding vows which we wrote together with her. We thought she could carry these on her somehow….anyone got some fab ideas to share??
Hope everyone has had a fab week.

All things clearly…..
Well it is with great pleasure that i finally share with you my scrapping clearly albums and items that I have been working on!!! www.scrappingclearly.com.au is a fantastic site the sells Acrylic albums and clear products such as Hambly (just to name one). The lovely Kylie Tout has a wonderful design team whom I find very inspiring. So here is what I have created so far…..

So there is all my work so far. I am loving playing with the products becuase they are something that I would not normally scrap.
A few weeks back I did some scrapping with my mother and Sharmaine and these are the layouts I produced from that day.

Today was Jacob and Sams first day back at school…….Apparently Jacob was not at all interested in his mother but rather was very happy to go sit on the mat because he is a big boy….
So that is my big share.

OLW Challenge
I loved this weeks challenge at OLW , the word was START. I had some ideas but then came up with the one that I did. It is part of the journey that I have been on for the last couple of years. I will post the layout then my Journaling which is the most intimate part of the layout.
It has been a long time since I have been able
to accept that I am a worthy person. I am only just
STARTING to like who I am after a lot of hard work.
I am a simple person who doesn’t wear make up, I’m
fat, I dress like a dag, I like all sorts of music and
enjoy listening to Celine Dion much to the loathing of most people
I know. I love my husband so much and know he loves
me in return. Sometimes I am outgoing, sometimes I am
shy, most times I am silly, think I am funny even when
I am not and I cry at the drop of a hat!! All this
makes me uniquely me and I am STARTING to like that person.
Am having a scrappy day with the lovely Sharmaine and my mumma so best be off…..will return tomorrow with some digis I have been doing and hopefully lots of layouts that I might get done today.

Mikayla looking mightily impressed with me taking a photo.
Mathew being….well mathew!! Umm bit of a crazy layout from me. In fact it really isn’t all tha tnice but i was trying for a different look and that is what I got lol.
Not much else happening today just relaxing. Worked yesterday and visited my nana in the afternoon who wasn’t too good. I hope everyone else is having a fantastic weekend.

Hellooooo helloooo hellooooooo
I’m here. After busy weeks and getting ready for Christmas I am back blogging. I hope everyone had a blessed day yesterday celebrating Jesus Birthday.
I haven’t been doing much scrapping still and am a little behind on my December book. Am determined to see it through as best as I can though. I have scrapped a layout though……my nephew will be horrified when he sees it!
I was also a very proud auntie when I got to see Jacob in his nativity play….he was so cute saying all his words and and getting them right.
This was also on the day of his birthday. I was lucky enough to spend time with him on his birthday morning before school. He got this from his mumma and dad and brother.
This year my family had Christmas eve at our house rather than Christmas day. Christmas day was spent with Dales mum which was lovely!!
Here are some piccys of some of us on Christmas eve….we had a great night which ended with a game or two of Buzz on the playstation 3 which was a lot of fun!
Here is mum…all cheeful!
Dale trying to avoid photos as usual lol!! Love you hun….
Little miss attitude….AKA Mikayla!
Mr Celery….as active and loud as ever!!
Catherine, Mikayla and Jamies girlfried Caitlyn. Jamie had to work till late so we missed out on seeing him!!
A typical Matty pic!
A reluctant Sam.
and Me…..ewwww lol
My sister Kerrie and a classic Cels!
Before Christmas my lovely husband got me this new cool phone….a blackberry storm. Similar to an Iphone. I love it and all its cool features…just had to share!!
If you made it to the end you are doing fantastically.
THe other thing that has been keeping me occupied these last weeks is my nanna. Basically she is dying so I am spending as much time with her as possible. All the grandchildren in our family are so close to her and I know I love her so much. I refuse to be doom and gloom about it though because that will get us no where. Will keep you updated though on how she is going.
On a happier note though my SIL Verity and her partner Ryan got engaged when they were on one of their trips to Africa this month. They both do a wonderful job of volunteering there.
Congratulations guys and welcome to the family Ryan!
Anyway hope you all have a fantastic weekend.

All things Gardening, reading, and catching up
Been lots happening with finishing Tafe for the year, “helping” dad weed and get my front garden ready for new plants and doing a bit of reading. I am now trying to learn how to relax after a big year studying and working. I will still be working but no more study until Feb…yay. I now have a beautiful garden thanks to dad who weeded our very tall weeds and trimmed trees etc. I helped for all of an hour and a half and then realised that dirt and I don’t mix…oh and bugs and I don’t mix…..hmmm think once I was a child who was always outside,m no socks and shoes on, shorts and short sleeved tops running around not worried about bugs and dirt…what happened LOL…..
So finally have caught up on my December book as of yesterday and have already done todays entry as well…..is nice to be up to date. I also changed some of the first pages…actually all but one. I wasn’t happy with how they looked so have basically just changed their backgrounds…so here they are
So there you have it. All very messy etc lol but that is how I love it!! A little like me really
I had the pleasure of seeing my aunty today and giving her a lift home from work. It is nice to live near a relative and it reminds me when I do see her that I should make more of an effort seeing that she lives closer, so this is my aim over the holidays!!
Otherwise it has been a fairly cruzy day, not much else happening!
(((hugs)))

Still learning!!
So I am back with a post with pictures. It may look a little funny though as the pictures are really bad, decided to take a photo of my pages standing up LOL…..not a good idea!! anyway thanks heaps to those that visited my blog and left a message. I didn’t realise that comments were there as for some reason my emails weren’t coming through…have to work that part out.
On a good note I have finished this years classess, YIPEEEEEEE. I was meant to have class tomorrow but I have finished everything so have been told that I don’t need to attend. It is a nice feeling.
I started a december book this week which I got inspired to do because of the one Sharmaine had over at her blog. Hers is Christmasy, mine is just things in december. So I thought I would share the cover page and the first two days. Remember bad photos LOL…..
I still don’t have the scrapping knack. Am happy with my cover but am so struggling with my pages!!!
I also made some gifts today that I saw on Mel Goodsells blog. She in turn had seen them on someone elses. I only used the drinking chocolate and marshmallows in mine. I think they are a fantastic gift idea!! I also made teh tags on them. They aren’t overly christmasy as I am not buying new products just using what I have.
Thats about it for today and hopefully I will start to blog daily soon…depending on how boring I am or how busy I become lol!!
(((hugs)))
